You are not selected as a speaker for various business, educational, and other organizations.  This is a great solution to reach a qualified audience and model yourself as an expert in their eyes.

Groups much like your local Chamber Of Commerce, PTA, Back garden Club, Hunt Membership, Single Parents, Household Owner’s Association, VFW, Community center, Little League, Basketball Club, Kiwana’s, VFW, American Hord, Moose Lodge, Alumni Connections, etc. hold conferences where they frequently require speakers. Do some research and see all such groups in the area then contact the theifs to volunteer your services as being a speaker.

You’ll have to do a bit of work to prepare a talk pertinent in subject theme to their interest …. certainly. But the event on its own as well as the contacts you will make create a great networking opportunity for you.

Men and women be curious about everything you do. The coordinator will obviously bring in you before you discuss and include a little regarding “who you are”. Just make pals and share as appropriate when acceptable.

This is more about advertising yourself in the community and reaching large teams while doing it.
