We all know the story: you have a day job, but prices keep on creeping up all the time and eventually you are unable to pay all the monthly bills. The solution? A part-time job. You could perhaps find a job working at a restaurant as a part-time waiter, or become a security guard at night. But then you will have transport costs and have to leave home to do the job. The ideal part-time job is something you can do from home, like to make money blogging, or design tattoos or even selling something like hp laptop skins from home.

All of those will probably bring in at least some money. Whether that will justify the time you invested in it, only time will tell. Something that has become extremely popular and the chose way for many people to earn money from home is Google Adsense. This is a very simple program: you sign up, Google gives you some code to enter into your website HTML and every time a visitor clicks on one or more of the ads Google display on your website, you get part of the income.

If you know nothing about building websites or blogs, try one of the many articles websites. Many of them are always looking for content and they will give you a percentage from the advertising revenue.

An important thing to remember in this regard is to never click on your own ads. Google monitors every click – they know exactly from which IP number the click was generated. They also know from which IP number you log in to your Google Adsense account. So if the IP number of the click matches that of your account IP, they will accept you committed what they call click fraud and close your account immediately.

Your next step would be to get visitors to your website. The simple statistical fact is that if you get 100 visitors, only a few of them will click on one of the ads. The more visitors you therefore get, the more clicks you are likely to get and the more money you will make.

You could spend money advertising the site, but if you don’t have that option then start by telling your friends. Get them to visit and leave a comment. Ask them to invite their friends as well. If your content is interesting enough, you could soon have a lot of visitors.

You can display Google Adsense ads on blogs, on articles, in short on any website that meets Google’s stringent requirements. No porn sites for example. The secret of success with this is to find a niche subject and build your blog, website or articles around that. Something that you know a lot about, that you are really interested in and will therefore be able to write about in a way that will sufficiently interest people to come back and read more.
