Want to find profitable niche markets, but just don’t know how? Keyword research, how to go about it? Let me help you with some of the basics.
There are thousands of niche markets, complete with customers who are “ready to buy”! Niches with “ready to buy” visitors is where the money is at, and there are thousands of them ready to be exploited. You could monetize with affiliate offers, AdSense, or put something together yourself. Often, your visitors are just looking for more information, and you should be ready and willing to supply it…for a price.
Having some interest, or even expertise in the niches you choose can be helpful. Although you could write about anything, knowing something about your topic definitely helps the process. No matter where your interest lies, there will be a profitable niche waiting for you.
It all starts with keyword research, what is the keyword or keyword phrases used in the search engines for the niche. If you were searching for information on “how to build a Blogspot niche blog” you could use the search term “blogging” but you would probably not get the results you were seeking. Taken one step further, if you wanted information on “how to build a Blogspot niche blog” that is what you would type in the search engine to get the relative information you were seeking. Start with less competitive, tightly targeted, niches to give yourself the best chance of success (go after to tougher ones later). Why search engine traffic? Because simply-put-it is by far the best kind (for an Internet Marketer anyway.
What tools can you use to find money making niche markets? I use Google’s Keyword Tool because it’s free (I love free stuff) and it’s Google, and Google my friend is the search engine you want to impress (Google gets about 70% of search engine traffic. When using this tool, I make sure the keywords I target a very relevant, and have profit potential because of their CPC (cost-per-click. To get the most accurate results be sure to use the “exact match” option. If your just starting out, go after some of the less competitive keywords to begin with. Try building your site around, say 10-20 long-tail keywords that are relevant to each other. Use them in post titles and in the body text, as well as anchor text in linking back to your niche blog.
Finding profitable niches isn’t really that hard, put in your research time, cover all the bases, because building and unprofitable niche blog takes as much time as a money making one.
